Edit textbooks for elementary Chinese Classics education
In cooperation with the Hubei Education Press, School of Chinese Classics edited two series of books, namely Chinese Classics Reader (24 volumes) and the Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture (24 volumes), aiming at disseminating classical texts and children's books which were popular and well-known in ancient China. It has made a great social impact.
Participate in the constructions of Guoxue organizations
The School of Chinese Classics participated in designing the Confucianism Hall, which is a main part of the National Center of Chinese Traditional Culture. The work was highly approved by the leadership of the government.
To build the Institute of Chinese Classics Research (Confucius Academy) of Wuhan University, Prof. Guo Qiyong accepted the invitation to be the Dean of “Guiyang Confucius Academy”, which has been constructed in Huaxi, Guiyang, Guizhou province, covering more than a hundred acres.

Cooperate in setting up the TV program of “Wenjin Guoxue”
According to the requirement of the government of Hubei province, experts from the School of Chinese Classics participated in helping repair Wenjin Academy in Xinzhou. Since 2012, the School of Chinese Classics has cooperated with Wuhan People's Political Consultative Conference and Wuhan television station to set up the TV program of “Wenjin Guoxue”, which is the first program about traditional culture in central China. With many good lectures delivered by domestic and international leading experts, the program was regarded as an excellent commentary of the nation and got many important awards. The office of WPPCC sent a letter to appreciate the support from School of Chinese Classics.
Establish “Wen Yiduo Guoxue public lectures” in cooperation with Wen Yiduo Foundation
Wen Yiduo Guoxue public lectures are sponsored by the School of Chinese Classics of Wuhan University and funded by the Wen Yiduo Foundation. It is a public welfare project for the university/college students in Hubei province. The lectures are given by exemplary teachers from Wuhan University, Central China Normal University, Hubei University and so on. The project was started in March of 2015 and became quite popular. The three component parts are public lectures, practice activities and scholarship for outstanding students.
Establish “Shuangfeng Guoxue and Buddhism workshop”
From 2012 to 2013, the School of Chinese Classics of Wuhan University established “Shuangfeng Guoxue and Buddhism workshop” in Sizu Temple in Huangmei, aiming at promoting the research on Huangmei Zen culture and Jingchu Buddhism. Professors Guo Qiyong郭齐勇, Ouyang Zhenren欧阳祯人, Xu Shuisheng徐水生, Chen Wenxin陈文新 and so on have visited Huangmei and gave lectures about Chinese Classics.
